Woodshadows is a series of poems/text scores based on memorable, chance encounters with nature, where I felt like I was given a brief opportunity to view the world we live in through its eyes.

All of the pieces are written both as poems and as text scores, though some are more accessible for performance than others. More pieces will be added to the collection as they are written.

The pieces are not intended as inspiration for free improvisation. If performed, they should be discussed amongst the performers, and a plan for the sounds and structure of the performance should be made.

Woodshadows is suitable for both amateur and professional musicians and readers.
